Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division in Sherman, TX seeks a Cable Tray Lead for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am). You will drive SQDCI improvements, ensure dispatch lists reach work centers daily, and provide the tools and safety oversight needed for efficient production.

Lead and mentor operators, resolve technical issues, conduct trainings, perform 5S and continuous improvement activities, and maintain staffing and materials to minimize downtime. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Three years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must reside in the Sherman, TX area; no relocation offered.
• Employer will not sponsor immigration status or work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (SQDCI).
• Distribute dispatch lists to work centers daily and ensure proper equipment/tools are available and safe.
• Coordinate with Planning on capacity and production issues.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and support staff to resolve issues and track corrective actions.
• Assist team with technical/process questions (inventory, drawings, procedures).
• Conduct trainings (on-the-job, refresher, etc.).
• Perform 5S and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Provide oversight to ensure operators complete tasks efficiently and minimize downtime.
• Ensure work centers are staffed and supplied for productive workflow.
