Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an on-site Cabling Technician for Tulsa, OK, working contract-to-hire. You will primarily handle structured cabling, pulling and testing Cat5/Cat6 cables, with some projects including wireless APs and A/V systems. Most crews operate in pairs, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (Pryor: 7:00am–4:30pm).

This intermediate-level role requires basic hand tools and reliable transport, and offers benefits and a potential pathway to hire.

• Own basic hand tools (snips, crimps, screwdriver set, punch-down tool)
• Reliant on reliable transportation
• Experience level: Intermediate

Description

Projects will consist primarily of structured cabling, including pulling, terminating, and testing data cables (Cat5/Cat6). Some projects will include installing wireless access points and A/V systems. Crews will work in teams of 2 for most projects, though some require a larger crew. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If working in Pryor, they will work 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a contract to hire position.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
