Job description

Lemonov Integrated Systems is a Dallas-area technology integration company specializing in structured cabling, network infrastructure, audio/visual systems, and managed IT services. We design, install, and support technology solutions for commercial clients. As a small, hands-on team, we take pride in quality workmanship, practical problem-solving, and delivering dependable solutions that our customers can rely on.

We're looking for motivated, dependable individuals who take ownership of their work, pay attention to the details, and want to be part of a growing technology services company.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Low Voltage / Structured Cabling Technician to support commercial installation projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems and is comfortable working in active construction environments as well as occupied commercial facilities. This position involves a combination of independent work and team-based installations, ranging from straightforward cable runs and terminations to more complex network infrastructure and audio/visual system deployments.

We value technicians who can work efficiently without sacrificing quality, follow instructions, communicate effectively, and take pride in leaving behind a clean, professional installation.

Key Duties:
  • Install, route, secure, terminate, label, and test Cat6, Cat6A, and other low-voltage cabling.
  • Assist with fiber optic cable installations, including pulling, routing, dressing, and testing.
  • Install and organize network racks, cabinets, patch panels, faceplates, cable trays, J-hooks, and other cabling infrastructure.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans, cable schedules, and installation instructions.
  • Install and assist with mounting low-voltage devices such as wireless access points, security cameras, speakers, displays, and related equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of cabling, connectivity, and installation-related issues.
  • Follow established installation standards, including proper cable management, bend radius, labeling, and termination practices.
  • Document completed work, including cable identification, test results, installation photographs, and relevant field notes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of tools, materials, and customer property.
  • Coordinate with project managers, lead technicians, and other trades to complete assigned work efficiently and on schedule.
  • Identify and communicate installation conflicts, material shortages, or potential project delays promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Required:
  • Practical experience with low-voltage cabling installation, termination, or related commercial construction work.
  • Familiarity with common installation tools, including drills, punch-down tools, cable testers, fish tapes, and pulling equipment.
  • Ability to follow drawings, written instructions, and established installation procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and above ceilings when properly trained and authorized.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a consistent work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional communication skills when interacting with customers, coworkers, and other trades.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites throughout the DFW area.
*Preferred:
  • 2+ years of commercial structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience.
  • Experience terminating and testing Cat6/Cat6A cabling.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic installation, termination, or testing.
  • Experience with network racks, patch panels, and equipment installation.
  • Exposure to commercial AV, surveillance, access control, or wireless network installations.
  • Familiarity with BICSI/TIA installation practices and cabling standards.
  • Experience operating scissor lifts or other personnel lifts.
  • Relevant manufacturer training or industry certifications.
What we're looking for:

Technical ability is important, but we place equal value on character, reliability, and accountability.

  • Pride in workmanship: Installations should be clean, organized, properly labeled, and completed correctly the first time.
  • Dependability: Show up on time, prepared to work, and communicate proactively when issues arise.
  • Accountability: Take responsibility for assigned tasks, follow through on commitments, and address mistakes rather than passing them along.
  • Initiative: Stay productive, anticipate next steps, and contribute without requiring constant direction.
  • Teamwork: Support fellow technicians & communicate constructively with project managers & customers.
  • Willingness to learn: Open to expanding technical skills across networking, AV, & security technologies.
Environment & Expectations:
  • Full-time, primarily on-site position based out of Addison, TX.
  • Work is performed at commercial customer and construction sites throughout the DFW Metroplex.
  • Standard weekday schedule, with occasional overtime or adjusted hours based on project needs.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working above ceilings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment for heavier items.
  • Compliance with company safety procedures and applicable jobsite requirements.
Why Join Lemonov?

Unlike companies focused exclusively on cable pulling, Lemonov offers opportunities to work across a broad range of integrated technology systems.

Our technicians gain exposure to enterprise networking, fiber infrastructure, commercial audio/visual systems, wireless deployments, video surveillance, and access control.

We operate as a relatively small team where individual contributions matter, quality work is recognized, and motivated employees have opportunities to grow their technical skills and responsibilities.

  • If you're dependable, take pride in your work, and want to build your career with a company that values quality over shortcuts, we'd like to hear from you.
