Job summary

PeopleReady in Milton, FL is hiring a Production Operator. You will operate the Take-Up machine in a cable manufacturing facility, ensuring proper setup and continuous monitoring while handling heavy reels.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, adherence to safety procedures, and accurate logging of production data. We offer shifts including day and night with potential weekend work and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady.
• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Take-Up machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
• Set up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor the product as it is spooled onto the reel.
• Move heavy reels and products with safe handling.
• Maintain a production and quality log per company systems.
• Repair discrepancies on the line while spooling onto the reel.
• Follow all safety procedures and safe material handling rules.
• Report quality issues to Supervisor/Lead immediately.
• Load and unload finished goods in designated areas.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
