Job summary

PeopleReady, Inc. in Milton, FL is hiring Production Operators. You will operate the Take-Up machine in a cable manufacturing facility and independently set it up, monitoring the product as it is spooled onto the reel.

You must have good mechanical skills, be able to handle heavy reels, and follow safety procedures. A log of production and quality must be kept, and all quality issues reported promptly. Shifts include day, night, and weekend options.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Take-Up machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
• Set up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor the product as it is spooled onto the reel.
• Maintain a consistent production and quality log per Gulf Cable systems.
• Repair any discrepancies within the line while spooling onto the reel.
• Load and unload finished goods in designated areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and report quality issues to the Supervisor or Lead.
