Job summary

PeopleReady in Milton, FL is seeking a Cable Inspection Operator to operate and monitor the Respool Machine in a cable manufacturing setting. You’ll set up equipment, inspect product quality, and repair damaged cable when possible while maintaining detailed records and following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of machine operation experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

Minimum age 18 years to be considered.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a machine operator preferred.
Background check and Drug test required.

Responsibilities

Operate the Respool Machine in a cable manufacturing facility.
Set up and operate the Respool Machine independently while monitoring quality and repairing damaged cable when possible.
Use and navigate electronic screens (HMI) to control machine operations.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude handling heavy reels and cable products.
Maintain production and quality records per company procedures.
Operate and monitor the drawing control panel via the HMI.
Identify and segregate scrap materials into designated areas.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and safe handling practices.
Report quality concerns or production issues to supervisors or leads.
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods; assist with additional duties as assigned.
