ROCHESTER GAS & ELEC CORP is seeking a Cable Splicer to safely operate, maintain and construct the underground electric system in the Rochester, NY area. The role requires readiness to respond to emergency calls around the clock and work closely with coworkers, customers, agencies, and trade allies.

**Position:** Cable Splicer 1/C, 2/C Acceptable**Number of Positions:** 1 **Location: RGE -** NY - Rochester - Scottsville Rd**Hourly Rate Range:** $23.04 - $58.19 A Cable Splicer is committed to safety and safe work practices. These individuals are responsible to ensure the safety of themselves, coworkers, the general public, and Company property. They know and apply the fundamentals of electricity and are sensitive to the hazards involved in this discipline. They ensure the safety and reliability of the underground electric system. They demonstrate the ability to competently and effectively perform the duties of their job including the skills to perform the operation, maintenance, and construction of the underground electric system.
