Job summary

Legrand is hiring a Cable Supervisor in Union, OH to oversee cable cutting operations and lead a skilled team on the shop floor. You will work on machines and in shipping/receiving, balancing hands-on supervision with scheduling and workflow management.

The role requires strong leadership, technical know-how in cable systems, and a commitment to safety, quality, and ISO-compliant documentation. This is a working supervisor position with daily hands-on activity.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience with cable systems or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical problem-solving skills and safety-conscious mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook) for real-time communication.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage cable cutters, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and quality.
Train and motivate a team of cable cutters to meet performance standards.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards and safety regulations.
Monitor cable cutting machines, tools, and equipment for good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
