Job summary

Conax Technologies is seeking a Product Design Engineer - Cable & Harness (NPI) in Tempe, AZ to lead design, development, and launch of advanced cable and wire harness assemblies for Aerospace and Power market applications. You will drive New Product Development from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program launches and manufacturing readiness.

This role blends office engineering with hands-on floor work and requires experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
5–8 years designing cable and wire harness assemblies.
Experience supporting Aerospace and Power/Industrial applications.
Proven success with New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
Strong CAD skills and knowledge of DFMEA methodologies.

Responsibilities

Drive New Product Development for cable and harness assemblies meeting customer specs.
Lead production launches and ensure manufacturing readiness.
Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.
Develop processes, routing instructions, tools, and fixtures.
Manage engineering changes and maintain technical documentation.
