Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Cable Fabricator to build complex cables for FBM programs, performing manual and automated wire harness tasks with precision and safety.

You'll work from detailed work instructions, assemble cables, use crimpers, solder as required, and perform continuity checks, with training provided and opportunities to grow as your skills increase within a mission-driven, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate decimals and fractions.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools and equipment.
• Skilled with computers and ability to learn new software.
• Must qualify and maintain required licenses and certifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Work with technical assistance and guidance, increasing independence with experience.
• Assemble cables and perform end-one functions with Robotic Arm System and wire harness subassembly forming operations.
• Crimp, cut, strip, solder, and terminate wires per work instructions.
• Perform continuity checks to verify cable circuitry.
• Set up and operate machines for lugging, stamping and swaging; suggest improvements to quality and productivity.
• Join Cable Shop to build cables for FBM programs and gain progressive training.
