Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Florida is seeking skilled technicians to join the production team. You will build and assemble electronic and mechanical components from diagrams, using hand tools and power tools, and read blueprints to ensure accurate wiring and assembly.

You will perform continuity checks, contribute to quality inspections, and, when needed, disassemble and rework prototype assemblies under test conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in cable assembly, wire harness building, or related electronics manufacturing (or equivalent training).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wire lists, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools (crimpers, strippers, soldering iron, cutters).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand/wrist motions.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies; reads diagrams/drawings and uses hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed; conducts quality inspections.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
