Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Houston, TX seeks a bench or line assembler to perform mechanical subassembly and assembly operations under close supervision, making minor adjustments as needed. You will follow production drawings, schematics, instructions and bills of materials to understand parts and steps required.

You will use hand and power tools, test assemblies, and operate equipment such as arbor presses and riveting machines.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and some vocational or technical training.
• 0-2 years of directly related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, drawings and schematics.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• U.S. Person for ITAR access and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical subassembly and assembly under close supervision.
• Follow drawings, schematics, instructions and bills of material.
• Use hand and power tools for fitting and assembly.
• Inspect parts and perform basic tests.
• Tend presses or riveting machines to join components.
