Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Millwork Engineer (Cabinet Vision) to design and engineer custom commercial millwork, review plans, and translate concepts into shop drawings and CNC-ready data. Collaboration with PM, production, and installation teams is key.

The role emphasizes Cabinet Vision proficiency, AWI standards, and delivering accurate fabrication documents for healthcare, hospitality, and education sectors, with growth opportunities in Carlsbad, CA.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience engineering architectural millwork or commercial cabinetry.
Advanced proficiency in Cabinet Vision software.
Deep understanding of commercial millwork construction methods and fabrication processes.
Ability to read, interpret, and produce architectural and shop drawings.
Experience creating CNC-ready manufacturing files and production documents.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed shop drawings and production-ready files using Cabinet Vision.
Engineer custom millwork, cabinetry, casework, countertops, and specialty woodwork for commercial applications.
Generate CNC machining data, bills of materials, hardware schedules, and production reports.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, Production, and Installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all designs comply with AWI standards and company quality requirements.
