Job summary

NE Millworks is seeking a Cabinet Vision Draftsman to translate concepts into production-ready plans for custom millwork and cabinetry. You will interpret architectural drawings, craft precise CAD drawings, and collaborate with designers, architects, and the production team to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Cabinet Vision experience, strong drafting skills, and knowledge of millwork assemblies, field measurement, and shop practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Cabinet Vision experience.
• Ability to read architectural plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Experience with field measurements and incorporating them into drawings.
• Knowledge of millwork assemblies, woodworking methods, and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & design: create accurate drawings and details for millwork projects.
• Plan interpretation: study architectural plans to develop correct project drawings.
• Project revisions: keep drawings updated as revisions occur.
• Cabinet Vision: generate detailed drawings and reports to support production.
• Field measurements: review and incorporate field data into drawings for accuracy.
• Workflow management: organize drawings to meet project schedules.
• Production support: assist production teams with drawings and issue resolution.
• Project coordination: collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors.
• Technical support: provide drafting clarification to resolve issues.
• Project management: oversee multiple drawings ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Quality & deadlines: ensure accuracy and on-time delivery within budget.
• Safety & compliance: adhere to policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Team support: assist teammates and handle related duties as needed.
