Job summary

SWARCO McCain, Inc. is seeking a Test Technician to join our Vista, CA manufacturing team. You will perform cabinet functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and modify cabinets per instructions to meet specifications while documenting results.

The role requires reading electrical wiring and schematics, using DVMs and oscilloscopes, and collaborating with engineers and QA to resolve line issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong records management is essential.

Qualifications

• Must read electrical wiring and schematics.
• Must be able to use DVM, oscilloscope and other electronic test equipment.
• Must have computer skills (e.g., Great Plains).
• Must be creative and able to work as a member of the cabinet test team.
• Must keep area neat, organized and safe.
• Must maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cabinet functional test.
• Perform assembly functional test.
• Troubleshoot and debug as needed.
• Furnish and certify test results.
• Perform process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product.
• Utilize hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and test fixtures.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and technicians to resolve issues.
• Maintain records/docs related to quality, timecards, and projects.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
