Job summary

SWARCO McCain is seeking an Assembler to assemble and install signal and sign assemblies per procedures, drawings, and wiring tables. You will read blueprints, follow work orders, route wires, and perform equipment changes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related training or experience, and the ability to lift up to 65 pounds. English communication and teamwork are essential at our Vista, CA facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related training or experience.
• Experience operating pallet jack and forklift.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• English reading/writing and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install traffic signals, signs, and related components according to orders and drawings.
• Route and secure wires through conduits and enclosures.
• Perform equipment change-overs and quality checks.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
