Job Description:

This position builds custom cabinets while maintaining safety, quality, customer, housekeeping, and productivity standards. The role works according to the specifications of the cabinet within the designated timeframe to ensure timely customer shipments.

Responsibilities:

• Construct assigned projects individually.
• Examine work order specifications and blueprints to determine materials and methods.
• Cut resources to size as needed.
• Apply stains, paint, laminate, and edge banding as required.
• Create standard and custom cabinet components.
• Inspect all parts of the cabinet before assembly for cleanliness and flaws.
• Inspect completed items to ensure they meet specifications.
• Meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping protocols.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Manage paperwork and sign off schedules as directed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Follow instructions from Leads, Supervisors, and Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in cabinet manufacturing or related field.
• Experience in painting and staining is a plus.
• Woodworking experience preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Efficient time management skills.
• Overtime may be required depending on workload.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds individually and 160 pounds with a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending and squatting.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
