Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide long-range vision and strategy for the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA).
• Lead policy development and legislative engagement at the state level.
• Oversee budgeting, planning, and resource allocation across divisions.
• Build relationships with localities and advocacy organizations.
• Represent Colorado in intergovernmental settings and with stakeholders.
• Direct and oversee the department’s operations and staff development.
• Guide cross-department initiatives, housing policy, and regulatory compliance.
