Job summary
Kitchen Tune-Up Inc. is hiring a Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter to join our team in the Bloomfield, NJ area.
The role involves installing and modifying cabinets, trim carpentry, and related finish work on residential projects across the Bloomfield metro area and surrounding communities. You will work with power tools, measure cabinets, communicate with the project manager, maintain a clean jobsite, and deliver quality workmanship in clients' homes.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry.
- Prior cabinet refacing experience preferred.
- Experience in Carpentry & General Construction (Dry Wall, Tiling, Painting, flooring).
- Ability to install and modify cabinets and measure cabinet dimensions.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Arrive to the jobsite on time and follow project manager instructions.
- Install cabinets, end panels, crown molding, and hardware.
- Keep work area clean and report progress daily.
- Communicate with project manager about progress and timelines.
- Work efficiently while respecting clients' homes.
