Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter for projects across Bloomfield, NJ and surrounding communities. The role requires trim carpentry, cabinet refacing experience, and the ability to install veneer, crown molding, doors and drawers.

Must have own tools and reliable transportation; punctual and professional at client homes. Compensation is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour with opportunities for raises and growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Trim Carpentry experience required.
• Cabinet refacing experience highly preferred.
• Able to install veneer, crown molding, doors and drawers.
• Must have all tools and reliable transportation.
• Good communication and punctuality expected.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and follow project manager instructions.
• Keep job site clean and safe; communicate progress daily.
• Install and modify cabinets, end panels, and hardware as needed.
• Work efficiently to minimize time in clients' homes.

We are immediately hiring a Cabinet Installer / Carpenter to join our team. The projects will be across the Bloomfield, NJ metro area and surrounding communities.

Job Requirements - Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter

• 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry
• Prior experience in Cabinet Refacing is highly preferred
• Able to put on veneer on boxes
• Able to install end panels, cut & install crown molding
• Able to install cabinet doors and drawer fronts
• Able to drill for hinges and install drawers / roll-out trays in cabinets
• Able to both install new cabinets and modify existing cabinets when requiredPrior experience with cabinet refacing, carpentry, or remodeling construction
• Must have all tools and reliable transportation
• Must be punctual, a good communicator, and agree to clean the work area daily.

• Arrive to the jobsite on time
• Follow instructions given by project manager
• Follow Trustpoints on every job
• Keep work area clean and orderly during the installation project and clean up daily
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
• Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed)
• Be respectful of the fact that you are working in our clients personal homes and conduct yourself professionally

Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
