Kitchen Tune-Up Inc. is hiring a Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter to join our team in the Bloomfield, NJ area.

The role involves installing and modifying cabinets, trim carpentry, and related finish work on residential projects across the Bloomfield metro area and surrounding communities. You will work with power tools, measure cabinets, communicate with the project manager, maintain a clean jobsite, and deliver quality workmanship in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry.
• Prior cabinet refacing experience preferred.
• Experience in Carpentry & General Construction (Dry Wall, Tiling, Painting, flooring).
• Ability to install and modify cabinets and measure cabinet dimensions.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to the jobsite on time and follow project manager instructions.
• Install cabinets, end panels, crown molding, and hardware.
• Keep work area clean and report progress daily.
• Communicate with project manager about progress and timelines.
• Work efficiently while respecting clients' homes.

We are immediately hiring a Cabinet Installer / Carpenter to join our team. The projects will be across the Bloomfield, NJ metro area and surrounding communities.

Job Requirements - Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter

• 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry
• Prior experience in Cabinet Refacing is highly preferred
• Experience in Carpentry & General Construction (Dry Wall, Tiling, Painting, flooring etc.)
• Able to both install new cabinets and modify existing cabinets when required
• Proficient in measuring and recording cabinet dimension
• Stellar work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
• Able to put on veneer on boxes
• Able to install end panels, cut & install crown molding
• Able to install cabinet doors and drawer fronts
• Able to drill for hinges and install drawers / roll-out trays in cabinets
• Must be punctual, a good communicator, and agree to clean the work area daily.
