Kitchen Tune-Up is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter (Cabinet Installer / Trim Carpenter) to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking career-minded remodelers or construction professionals who are willing to learn new techniques and are looking for a stable, well-paying career.

This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power hand tools is mandatory. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet redoing and refacing projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Consistently arrive on time in logoed shirt and appropriate work clothing.
  • Work independently or with a team.
  • Follow instructions given by project manager/leader.
  • Face each day with a growth mindset: taking responsibility for successes and failures, while remaining coachable.
  • Follow Trustpoints on every job and with every interaction.
  • Install products in a safe, high-quality, productive, and profitable fashion in our clients' homes.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily.
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress.
  • Work quickly and efficiently.
  • Positively problem-solve to manage and correct unplanned problems on the job.
  • Perform cabinet modifications.
  • Perform door, panel, drawer, and hardware installations.
  • Perform cabinet storage solution installations.
  • Measure, cut, and install veneer and moldings (ISC, OSC, toekick, baseboards, casings, etc).
  • Able to work in Montgomery County and surrounding counties.
Skills:
  • Cabinet refacing experience.
  • Cabinet installation experience.
  • Able to drill for hinges.
  • Able to install doors and drawer fronts.
  • Able to install crown molding and trim.
  • Able to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun.
  • Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time.
