Carter Kitchen & Bath (Kempsville Building Materials) is seeking a Cabinet Sales Designer to lead design projects from measurement to delivery for kitchens, baths, and other spaces. You will partner with builders, contractors, and homeowners to translate wants into detailed plans and secure final sales.

You will leverage your design background, cabinetry knowledge, strong relationships, and communication to drive opportunities and growth within our family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Design and sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Knowledge of cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing, and trends.
• Proficient in 20/20 and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Detail‑oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule based on customer needs.
• Strong math skills for quoting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces (kitchens, baths, offices, mudrooms, bars) and manage from measurement to delivery.
• Work with builders, contractors, and homeowners to secure the final sale.
• Identify sales opportunities and perform site measurements and design.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and accurate specs.
