Job summary

Herrman Lumber is seeking a Cabinet Design Coordinator to manage projects from concept to completion, including design development, ordering, and client communication. You will create accurate drawings, coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth fabrication and installation.

The role requires strong design skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with design software such as 2020 Design and Cabinet Vision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong design principles and shop drawings knowledge.
• Experience with construction or lumber industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and vendor reps to review project requirements and specs.
• Produce detailed design and shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling and coordination.
• Conduct on-site surveys to verify measurements and conditions.
• Place and track product orders to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
• Prepare quotes and bids in response to inquiries and specs.
• Oversee invoicing and ensure accurate billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on payments.
• Support showroom operations and general office tasks.
