Job summary

Herrman Lumber Company is seeking a Cabinet Design Coordinator to manage projects from concept through installation. You will prepare detailed shop drawings, coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing. The role emphasizes strong design skills and experience with cabinetry software, plus the ability to read blueprints and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with coverage eligibility under company policy.
• 1–3 years of experience with MS Office and Outlook preferred.
• Previous design experience in lumber/building products preferred.
• We will train the right person.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, shop drawings, and fabrication/installation processes.
• Experience reading specifications/blueprints is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and vendor reps to review project requirements and specs.
• Produce detailed design and shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Manage projects from initiation through completion including scheduling and progress tracking.
• Conduct on-site surveys to verify measurements and conditions.
• Place and track product orders to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
• Prepare quotes and bids in response to inquiries and specs.
• Oversee invoicing and ensure billing aligns with contracts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding payments.
• Support showroom operations and general office tasks.
