Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a dispatcher in Minnesota to receive client requests, assign teams, and ensure timely response across locations. The role supports a nationwide facility-services provider with on-the-job training and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old; no high school diploma or college degree is required. Prior dispatching is nice but not required, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities a noted bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• On the job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Schedule and dispatch resources, which may be team members, crews, and teams to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using telephones and email.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and/or resource schedules.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Confer with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions, problems, and requests for temporary coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
