Job summary

ABM Industries in Wichita, KS is seeking a dispatch coordinator to manage communication and resource assignment for field teams. You will schedule, dispatch, and track staff movements to meet customer requests and work orders, using phone and email.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Schedule and dispatch resources to locations according to customer requests using phone and email.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and schedules.
• Oversee all communications within assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Confer with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions, problems, and requests for temporary coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and/or resource schedules.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Confer with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions, problems, and requests for temporary coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• One (1) year of prior multi-line reception experience or dispatching experience.
• Prior experience scheduling and dispatching 50+ employees.
