Job summary

Big Sur Campground & Cabins is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of cabins and public areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operation by communicating with team members to prevent and resolve issues.

Housing is provided as part of employment, with a fuel allowance for commuting and a generous paid time off plan plus 401k matching. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards, and correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Be familiar with Campground & Cabins services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Available to work weekend shifts Sat/Sun and be available to work holidays.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up, and hair from bathroom surfaces and dispose of trash.
• Clean kitchen, dishes, stove, fridge, countertops as required.
• Replace facial, toilet tissue, and bathroom amenities as needed.
• Remove laundry bags and slips, dirty bed linen, and make up beds with clean linen.
• Inspect furniture for damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Realign furniture and replace missing items as per floor plan.
