Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking an Assembler I - Cabin to join the manufacturing team. You will perform assembly tasks, prepare and inspect components, and test finished assemblies in accordance with military and other standards.

Under supervision, you will set up equipment, follow safety procedures, and cross-train on multiple products. The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and adherence to quality, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and related techniques.
• Ability to interpret production or engineering prints and assembly aids.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned assembly tasks.
• Prepare components prior to assembly, clean and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.
• Test finished assemblies.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and machinery.
• Observe health and safety procedures when handling hazardous chemicals.
• Cross-train to work on at least 2 products.
• Complete job-related training courses.
• Support CBS initiatives (5S, KPI’s, Standard Work, Problem Solving).
• Overtime may be required.
