Job summary

Crane Company in Burbank, CA seeks an Assembler I - Cabin to perform assembly tasks for aerospace products under supervision, following military and other standards with visual, verbal, and written instructions.

The role requires 0–2 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and skills in reading, communication, and basic computing; IPC soldering certification preferred. Overtime may be required and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and related techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reading comprehension in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned assembly tasks.
• Prepare components prior to assembly, clean components, mark and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.
• Test finished assemblies.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and machinery.
• Observe health and safety procedures when handling hazardous chemicals; report issues to lead or supervisor.
• Participate in area and machinery cleaning and team meetings for improvement.
• Cross-train to work on at least 2 products.
• Complete job-related company training courses.
• Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S, KPI’s, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
