Inn at Bay Harbor is seeking a Cabana Server to deliver outstanding front-of-house service at the resort on Lake Michigan. This full-time seasonal position involves greeting guests, taking orders, using a POS system, and maintaining a clean service area.

Candidates must be at least 18, capable of obtaining ServSafe certification, and available weekends, weeknights, and holidays. The role offers perks including staff passes, dining discounts, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• ServSafe certification or obtain it upon hire.
• Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and make them feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
• Accurately answer questions about food and beverages and how items are prepared.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders using a POS system.
• Inform guests of menu specials and changes; upsell items.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and complete side work as needed.
• Assist fellow servers, bartenders and bussers as situations arise.
• Practice safe/sanitary food handling procedures.
