Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server Assistant in Sandusky, OH to deliver memorable guest experiences through friendly, attentive service. You will greet guests, escort them to their cabana, and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth seating and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service to guests at the cabana.

• Be ready to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a memorable guest experience through prompt recognition, and friendly, attentive service.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Starting Rate :$13.00 + TIPS!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous services always
• Greet and welcoming guests, in a friendly manner, escorting them to their assigned cabana.
• Communicate with servers to ensure efficient seating, cabana utilization and customer service
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure that smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager or supervisor

What We’re Looking For

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
• Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
