Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is hiring a Cabana Server to deliver friendly, responsive service and craft a memorable beverage and dining experience for guests.

You will greet guests, propose specials, take orders, and ensure accurate delivery from kitchen and bar, while maintaining hospitality standards. This role starts at $8.00 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, inform them of drink specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise any menu changes.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system and relay any special dietary needs and special requests.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner, along with the appropriate accompaniments and condiments from service bars.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
• Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
