Job summary

Boulay is seeking a CAAS Intern to support our Consulting department with day-to-day accounting tasks, payroll support, and basic financial activities for multiple clients in a collaborative setting. You will receive one-on-one mentoring and in-house training to grow professionally.

The internship runs January through April in Minneapolis, MN with a hybrid format (two-three days in the office, remaining days remote). Compensation is provided at $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
• Strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Desire to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Help with basic day-to-day accounting tasks (AP/AR, data entry, reconciliations, and payroll support).
• Assist with organizing and maintaining accounting records and files.
• Support the team with preparing financial reports, 1099s, and simple tax filings.
• Help track expenses, invoices, and reimbursements.
• Communicate with team members on task progress and ask questions when needed.
