Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a driven Workers’ Compensation Claim Specialist in Irvine, CA to manage a dedicated portfolio within a single client account. You will lead investigations, determine compensability, and steer claims toward fair, timely resolutions while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting injured workers.

The role offers a development path toward supervisory or management positions, with opportunities to expand technical expertise and contribute to CCMSI’s excellence in claim

Qualifications

5+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience.
Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
Responsiveness to internal and external client needs.

Responsibilities

Investigate, evaluate and adjust claims in accordance with standards and laws.
Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations.
Review or oversee medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
Authorize and make payments within authority.
Negotiate settlements per standards and state laws.
Assist in selection and supervision of outside vendors.
