Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster with California experience for a fully remote role. The position requires handling investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and settlements on behalf of clients.

You will interact with claimants, attorneys, providers, and executives, must be licensed in California with SIP, and bring strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills. Remote but California-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• Licensed in California and SIP certified.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers' compensation claims on behalf of our clients.
• Communicate with claimants, providers, attorneys, and executives to facilitate claim resolution.
