Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a CA Workers' Compensation Claims Team Lead to supervise a team of examiners and technical staff, guiding complex and high-exposure claims adjudication and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires CA WC knowledge and supervisory experience, with a hybrid office model across California and a focus on delivering high-quality service while supporting career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Licenses as required.
• Six years of California workers' compensation claims management experience or equivalent.
• California jurisdictional knowledge; SIP certification preferred or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of workers' compensation claims examiners and technical staff.
• Identifies trends and issues; informs management and recommends actions.
• Provides technical direction on claims adjudication and jurisdictional matters.
• Reviews management reports and takes appropriate action.
• Maintains client relationships and promotes professional service quality.
