Job summary

Rula Mental Health is seeking licensed PMHNPs to join a nationwide network of independent contractors. Roles include comprehensive psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and medication management, with admin tasks handled by Rula.

Requirements include California license, ANCC PMHNP certification, and telehealth capability. Per-visit compensation is provided with no-show protection; you set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in California.
• 1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, meds management, and crisis management.
• Independent licensure and/or collaborating MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• PMP registration.
• No suspensions/debarments in the past 3 years.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in PMH nursing.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including diagnostic workups and treatment planning with medication management.
• Treat patients with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Access and use the EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from Care Coordination teams.
• Allocate adequate time: 30 minutes for follow-ups and 60 minutes for initial visits.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing to allow focus on patient care.
