Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Systems Administrator II (C4ISR) to support the MTCCS II program at Fort Wainwright, AK. You will ensure health of C4ISR systems, manage MCiS and C2 platforms, and oversee physical and virtual servers.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, DoD IAM/Security+ compliance, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, including shift work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience supporting information systems operations and training; 5 years preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2022 or newer including AD, Radius, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Experience and training with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiar with Trellis ENS and Tenable SC scans; DoD IAM/Security+ compliant/CS mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of C4ISR systems.
• Manage Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS) and various C2 systems.
• Maintain and secure servers and systems; perform backups and documentation.
• Deploy MCiS workstation platforms; manage VOIP tech like REDCOM.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and apply patches.
