Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator II (C4ISR) to support MTCCS II programs at Fort Wainwright.

You will operate and secure the MCiS, C2 systems, and associated infrastructure to enable mission-ready training and operations for Army forces in the Pacific region. The role requires 3+ years of related IT experience, DoD 8570 IAM I (Security+ CE) compliant certification, and DoD security clearances.

Qualifications

• Information Technology (IT) systems support experience.
• Experience in operating and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with C4ISR environments and DoD standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of C4ISR systems.
• Manage Mission Command Information Systems (MCiS).
• Manage a variety of Command & Control (C2) systems.
• Manage data products / IP management or unit LDIF.
• Maintain servers and workstations running VMware, Windows, and Linux.
• Maintain system security and documentation.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures.
• Deploy MCiS workstation platforms per training needs.
• Manage REDCOM VoIP platform.
• Utilize SOC tools to identify and mitigate issues.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies for enclave networks.
• Implement DISA STIGs and IAVM patching.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Attend to shift work and site requirements.
