Job summary

Tatitlek Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support installation and integration on board US Coast Guard Boats and Cutters. You will receive initial instructions and perform tasks independently, including wiring, testing, and upgrading electrical/electronic/C4I systems.

This role requires reading engineering drawings, fabricating connectors, and mentoring junior staff. Strong communication, organization, and the ability to travel 60–75% annually are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
• Experience with US Coast Guard or Navy C4I system installation and integration.
• Cable fabrication/certification is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation/removal/upgrades for electrical/electronic/C4I tasks (wiring, testing, and verifying connections).
• Performs system testing to evaluate performance under supervision.
• Reads and interprets installation drawings and cable run sheets with assistance.
• Fabricates connectors by soldering/crimping for navigation, communication and power equipment.
• Leads crew or mentors junior staff under general supervision.
• Travel between 60% and 75% annually.
