Auria is seeking a Software Engineer to support the C2BMC program, onsite in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on Java-based development for the BM/SRM team within Huntsville, with responsibilities spanning design, coding, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of related work experience as an alternative to a degree.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of application to start.
• Experience and knowledge of software practices such as coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines and configuration.
• Software engineering and development with strong Java/J2EE, C++/OO or similar language experience.
• Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux (Windows experience also desired).
• Use of common software development and management tools such as Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus and Eclipse.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, and user support.
• Develop or modify operating systems applications from specifications; assist with design, coding, benchmarking, debugging and documentation.
• Interface with other system support groups to resolve problems and improve efficiency of the operating system.
• Design, code, test and implement tools for operations automation.
• Work on most phases of software systems programming and provide guidance in other phases.
