Job summary

Auria, headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Software Engineer for the C2BMC program. The role is onsite, focusing on Java-based enterprise applications, with opportunities to contribute to design, testing, and operations support within a DoD context.

You will work with an agile team, potentially mentor junior engineers, and engage in multi-system integration while maintaining best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or related field.
• Active Secret Security Clearance Required.
• 7+ years experience with an advanced degree, 9+ years with a Bachelor degree.
• Experience in at least one object oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.).Experience with software integration and formal testing.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and ability to apply them in a multi team environment.
• Excellent problem solving skills with a proven track record of root cause analysis and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in Java for the C2BMC program.
• Work on a regional applications team in Colorado Springs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team leadership when needed.
• Perform design, coding, testing, and documentation of programs.
• Interface with system support groups to resolve problems and improve efficiency.
