C-Store Manager
The C-Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers.
The C-Store Manager oversees store profits and all controllable expenses, such as labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruiting, recommending for hire, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Motivate, encourage, and challenge store team members.
- Promote and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
- Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, correctly priced, and safely displayed.
- Supervise and discipline employees according to company policy.
- Monitor competitor gasoline prices and report to the corporate office as per management guidelines.
- Complete daily paperwork and computer entries promptly.
- Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
- Conduct monthly store meetings with employees.
- Maintain physical ability to perform all duties of a store team member.
- Understand and utilize daily store operation reports.
- Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is properly posted.
- Communicate pricing issues to the Price Book Administrator.
- Enforce merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are followed and report unsafe conditions.
- Report and process all employee and customer incidents or accidents following company procedures.
