Job Overview:
The C-Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant managers. They oversee store profits and controllable expenses such as labor, inventory, and cash handling.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training team members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Motivate and encourage store team members.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained.
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displays are attractive and safe, and pricing is correct.
- Supervise and discipline employees according to company policy.
- Monitor competitor gasoline prices and report to the corporate office.
- Complete daily paperwork and data entry efficiently.
- Monitor cash, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
- Conduct monthly store meetings with employees.
- Perform all duties of a store team member as needed.
- Understand daily store operation reports.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS signage is correctly posted.
- Coordinate with the Price Book Administrator on merchandise pricing.
- Enforce merchandising, vendor policies, safety, and security protocols.
- Report and handle employee and customer incidents per company procedures.
