Minuteman Food Mart is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations of our convenience store in Whiteville, NC. The salaried GM will drive sales, ensure outstanding customer service, manage staff, and hit business targets in a high-volume location.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and a track record of achieving performance goals in retail. Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent retail management experience.
• Proven experience as Store Manager or Retail Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for customers and staff.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory, and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop store team including sales associates and cashiers.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock levels.
• Implement visual merchandising to optimize product placement and displays.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
