Job summary

Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a C-Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will help with hiring, training, and developing team members while maintaining a clean, stocked, and customer-ready store.

The role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends; prior retail or service experience is preferred. We offer competitive perks and room for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Retail, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills at an eighth-grade level.
• On-the-job training provided for all new team members.

Responsibilities

• Work five days per week, including some weekends when the Store Manager is off.
• If short-staffed or standards aren’t met, may work up to six days per week.
• Work assigned shifts, including at least two nights per week.
• Assist with daily store operations and tasks per company policies and area manager direction.
• Ensure compliance with city, county, and state beverage laws.
• Deliver prompt, courteous service to every customer.
• Lead and assist staff to maintain cleanliness and organization for high inspection scores.
