Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a C-Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced store.

The role includes hiring, training, and developing team members, maintaining a clean, well-stocked store, and enforcing beverage laws. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• Must be able to do basic math at the eighth-grade level.
• On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.

Responsibilities

• Work five days per week, including some weekends when the Store Manager is off.
• May work up to six days per week if understaffed or not meeting standards.
• Work assigned shifts including at least two nights per week.
• Support daily store operations and complete assigned tasks per policies/area manager directions.
• Ensure compliance with city, county, and state beverage laws.
• Deliver prompt, courteous service to every customer.
• Lead and assist staff to maintain cleanliness and organization for 90%+ store inspection scores.
• Complete required training and maintain customer-ready standards (restrooms, parking, fuel islands, counters, merchandise).
• Ensure accurate cash handling, register balancing, and timely bank deposits.
