SimVentions, Inc is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts. This on-site role is located at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary’s County, MD, requiring five days per week on site and US citizenship for clearance.

Active Secret Clearance is required. BS in engineering or computer science is preferred, with experience in C++, Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, review, and test C++ code.
• Experience with Linux operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
