Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a skilled C++ Software Developer to support aircraft software maintenance efforts at NAVAIR-PAX River in St. Mary’s County, MD. The role requires being on-site five days a week and an ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required.

You will work with Linux (RHEL), Oracle databases, and Visual Studio, as part of a multidisciplinary team designing and testing software for military avionics. Strong knowledge of C++ and Ada is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or computer science required.
• Proficiency in C++ with test and review capabilities.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL), Oracle DB, and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Review data, reports, and designs to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
